- i don’t think people have caught onto the fact that to get the most out of current and future AIs (learning and productivity wise)
- it doesn’t make sense to talk with AIs like you would humans
- if you met a human who has spent thousands of human years reading the corpus of the internet text
- would you interact with that human like you do your friend bob?
- no you wouldn’t - so interact in a way that benefits from the breadth of knowledge and awareness
- today’s AIs have very wide knowledge about many things and less vertical of expert knowledge than, say a PhD
- so adapt your language structure so you can maximize the value of interaction
- going one inference further
- likely, the productivity and learning gains from each incremental unit of time talking with a human vs AI likely will begin to diverge towards AIs (and some power law humans who are at the frontier if alpha knowledge)
- it’s best to begin adapting your behavorial and language patterns and don’t assume that information is processed and exchanged in the same way
