Beginning aside: it's so humid tonight that the water is condensing as fog and sea-level moisture. What a start to autumn!

Combined Wednesday and Thursday at home. Had a turkey and chopped salad with Dijon mustard. I need to buy some eggs tomorrow. Used my new Hario V60 cloth filters — clean flavor and finish for how thin the cloth itself is, though a little tricky to clean. I haven't used my V60 in months. Cleared out a little bit of my OneTab on the couch, then headed into the office with my desk and all and spent a half hour replacing my Nuphy keyboard's switches from low-profile choco browns to the original low-profile linear reds. This thing won't die even after I took out the swollen battery so, you know, give it more work... 😁 Actually, I forgot how long it took to replace these hot-swappable switches. I had to break a few because they were wedged in so tightly. I think my next keyboard should be something low-maintenance. Pixelbook scissor switch is my gold standard, though my current P14s comes close. The red switches feel heavier but I don't feel I have to bottom out. Had a salmon sandwich around 2:45 after a call from a Navy recruiter — I really pressed the poor guy for research/internship opportunities, and he didn't have much. The rest of the day gets pretty mushy from there... cleared out a few more tabs, wrapped up some photo edits, updated my photo/camera notes, then I think I doom-binged politics/news vids on the Iran war and midterms until 7:00 or so. Dinner — Grandma's marinated baked chicken with perilla herb and a gochujang soy sauce, leftover leafy veggie soup from last night, and mom's excellent stir-fried squid and pickled black pepper.
