Slept in again, though not as much as yesterday. (Woke up at 9:45 yesterday, today was 9:00.) Had some pizza for breakfast and sucked down some more of my Mondulkuri robusta coffee my mom gave me a few weeks ago. (I started drinking it a couple of weeks ago as I was finishing my other coffee, the Trader Joe's Chiapas blend... not great, over-roasted). Mom had the day off so I helped with some chores, cleaned up my space, etc. etc. Had some pizza, leftover seaweed/egg/ear mushroom soup, and a rotisserie chicken drumstick for late lunch around 4. Napped around 5:30 to 6:30. Watched a lot of Iran and geopolitics YouTube vids today. Procrastinated on sending job applications. Got some milk tea for mom, younger cousin, and myself; saved mine in the fridge. Had dinner around 8:00 — cucumber herb sour soup with preserved river fish, rice, and rotisserie chicken thigh. Did some photo editing later this night to compare the JPEG vs. RAW workflow. JPEG workflow is still much faster, has that gritter late 2000s look because it's quantized; RAW workflow gives lots of flexibility (did some very mild secondary color grading — great!) but takes more time. I really dig the flexibility of this camera, and the color density it can produce in edited JPEGs or RAWs. For the time savings, I think I'll go for a JPEG-first workflow, keep the Olympus RAWs as backup, and use my RAW skills for my Canon RP files. I'm really happy sticking with this camera so far and don't miss the Foveon opportunity cost.
