Ran out of ham today so just an egg and Korean mint sandwich with Dijon mustard.

Took Grandma to Lion at 1pm ish. I think this is the third day in a row now.

Got Panda Express (green veggies and mushroom chicken) for lunch, did some reading, and did even more reading at the Milpitas library. Felt oddly disappointed there weren't any academic publications. Even the Chomsky and Steven Pinker books I saw in the Language aisle were more popsci oriented. Headed out around 5:15pm. Dad was home doing payroll and later we got to talking about my uncles (mom side) and the business and plans for if things go south.

Grandma served some leftover coconut cream and pork prahok dip from yesterday; grilled pork; and sour herb soup with water spinach and pork. Lots of pork this week.

I keep procrastinating on sending messages to my friends. Also need to ask Donna about the security deposit. I'm just naming it here to try and get it off my mind.

Lots of PvZ Reflourished and digicam videos today, similar to this past week and last week. I ordered an LX3 on July 13th. I'm trying to be nonchalant about it but my browsing habits are still betraying me. That's how it is when you're a nerd. I'm really excited for the LX3 because its like a digital film camera. I tried editing some sample RAW photos a couple weeks ago and was really impressed by how pliable and sharp they were. Compared to the GF2 RAW files, they seem to lose 1 or 1.5 stops of dynamic range but the color science is a bit "denser" and the integrated Leica lens is truly as sharp as people make it out to be. I think this is my floor for how small/old I can go, but I'm impressed. Looking forward to how the camera resolves (outdoor) scenes around Milpitas and San Jose once it arrives. It's coming from China, so it's taking forever.
