250th anniversary but not a lot of stuff happened today. Egg, turkey, chopped lettuce, Japanese mayo sandwich with a couple dill pickle spears and (freeloading off my parent's beans of) French roast coffee. We didn't have a big barbecue or a gathering like previous years because my mom and younger brother are flying overseas — we dropped them off at SFO and helped them in — and my mom and grandma typically prep food. I was thinking of going out and checking out some camera gear at local electronic shops but everything's closed for the holiday, so I stayed in. Grandma made stir fry with beef and Chinese water spinach for dinner. Didn't work on Helios but I did watch like 4 episodes of Adventure Time and 3 episodes of Rick and Morty lol. That Season 8 finale is amazing. (Earth) Beth is fiercer than a lion. Something about media covering memory and how that flows into lived experience and cognition just gets me. (Antimemetics Division. Severance. Homestuck?) I actually think the entire season has a solid quality floor, no distinctly bad episodes. Revised some of the SotC 3.0 outline and overview since I need to publish it soon and send to my friends.
