OMFG what a day. Commencement ceremony at Upper East Field for Cowell (had to switch to afternoon time), parents picked me up and we headed to campus, had the ceremony, walked the stage and had photos taken, said hi to Sadie, said hi to Alisa and chatted a little and played Kanoodle with their roommate's set for a few minutes, lots of extended family and photos, etc. etc. Dropped off back at Scotts Valley and then drove to San Jose for Tomi's buffet and sushi. Yum. Forgot to take photos of the dishes but I think I got a good spread of foods and sushi. Dr. Ky drove all the way from Stockton(?!) to give me some well wishes and some advice to network with my old high school principals and superintendents(??). Lowkey kind of dismissive and classist and very money-focused but maybe that's just his personality or he was tired. Drove to Milpitas with my Uncle Mike and talked about balancing love and monetary gain in work. Unwound the rest of the night. Talked to Aunt Huylang about English writing, gap year, political extremists. Helped Aunt Kun with her iPhone 11's Google Account and advised her on her battery repair. Unwound the rest of the night the best I can. Boy I'm tired. I think it'll really hit tomorrow that my undergrad is OVER over.
