April 17th 2026. Loaded Neoguri seafood ramen with two eggs, kale, and chickpeas. Packed broth wasn't as spicy as I thought so I didn't need to add a splash of yogurt or milk (sounds insane but actually works). Chatted with Donna, then read PYD as I ate. Hung out on the couch with Chiki and watched some macro lens videos. Unfortunately, in my testing this week, the RF 85mm f/2 didn't work for me. My copy from MPB in "Good" condition had a half-working image stabilizer and was softer than my 35/1.8. Fought with the FedEx app to plan a shipment, tried to drop it off directly at Walgreens FedEx, printed the label at the Scotts Valley library, THEN was able to ship it. Nice convo with the young woman at the counter. Headed to Top a Lot Yogurt, then East Remote Lot and McHenry to finally do some studying with the LING 177 Python Jupyter notebooks. Headed out around 7:20, aaa Dharmesh (last time I saw him was like early February!) and chatted with him a few minutes, then went back to my car and home. I think I got good work done today for what was basically a break day. Took an hour and a half prepping and making SPAM fried rice for the very first time and it turned out HUGE but also delicious and very filling.
