Woke up decently early around 9am, lamped in bed for half an hour reading The Hunger Games, had a little leftover alfredo pasta with two tea eggs and four mozzarella balls, read a little bit more of the Hunger Games, took grandma to Marina Grocery, came back and finished my coffee and spent the next 2 hours in the mid-afternoon (approx. 2 to 4:30) nailing my final essay for CaT Lab, sent it to Dr. Manago, totally unwound by binge-reading The Hunger Games and the first two thirds of Catching Fire. I genuinely lost track of time. I was locked in. I must've read Hunger Games and Catching Fire for over 5 hours in total today. Not a joke. Grandma made some soup with leftover hot pot ingredients and chicken stock: long leafy greens, scallops, shrimp, enoki mushrooms. I got plenty of veggies. Lately I keep craving them, again. I'm trying to cut down on my sugary snacks as well, which is a habit I picked up in the last fourth of the Fall quarter when I was losing ideas for lunchtime snacks (tended to have nut bars, granola bars, and sweet snacks).
