Thursday: Lectures. Met Shruti on the way to SS2 and chatted about classes, labs. Apparently Sasha wanted Shruti to tell me hi. My God that made me feel guilty; I'm bad at texting. But it also made me feel appreciated, that another person wondered how I was doing. You know sometimes I wonder myself how I'm doing. I don't know. Finished watching my DataVyu vid and wrote the reflection. Had a quiz in Psyc 121. I think I did OK. Skipped Fishrap meeting since my energy that late into the day was all but gone. I knew I couldn't make dinner either so I just grabbed a beef burrito from Tacos El Chuy. $16 tax and tip. I may have to be less generous with my tipping unfortunately. Kind of worth it though since there was lots of beef birria and filled me way up. Funny bit: My third sauce cup slipped out of my hands and went careening to the asphalt just as I was about to enter the car. That's the price I get for getting greedy :-) At least the avocado sauce was good. The thinner green sauce was a touch too spicy for me.

Friday: Technically didn't have any classes but I did want to swing by Prof. Williams' and Prof. Seymour's office hours. Both professors and their offices were cozy and erudite in their own ways. I can't promise myself or them I can meet on Friday but it seems they're open to other meetings during the week so we'll see how I can Jenga/Marie Kondo my schedule this next half of classes. Made beef stew for dinner! A little bland though (so typical of the Instant Pot).

Today, Saturday: Just at home, thank God. Needed some quiet and stability to do a little studying, unwind, digest my learnings, watch a few (ok actually a lot) photography videos. Turns out Paul isn't home this weekend and is visiting his dad in Monterey which explains why the house is so quiet. Apparently Paul's dad has got issues, which explains their split, but Donna's accepted things for what they are. There are times I can't quite read Ms. Donna's expression and feelings and when she was talking about him this was for sure one of them. But it was interesting to hear for sure and I had the feeling she'd just like to get it off her mind. She also made some chicken pasta soup and invited me to try some. I'm glad I did. This was around lunchtime and really kept up my energy into evening. Had some more leftover beef stew and made some rice for dinner and added more seasoning to the stew which really propped it up. Yum.
