"[Growing up] is hard and nobody understands." // https://www.homestuck.com/story/2391

I wish I could say I arrived to Scotts Valley promptly. There was some traffic at the bend and Highway 17 was a little congested, but not so bad. Prepped at Donna's house for an hour or so, chatted with her a little bit, and headed to Milpitas around 4:30. San Jose had its own traffic too, so I arrived at Fosters Freeze around 5:30, about 15 extra minutes of travel time. I'll tell you, driving in the Santa Cruz area has really given me a confident albeit weightier foot, and made me forget how inconsiderate San Jose drivers can be (no turn signals! close merges!). Talked with parents at the shop and then headed home. Big big dinner. A little bit of moms curry, and then grandma's signature(?) tofu/chives/bean sprouts/pork stirfry. Mom got on the pork bandwagon with some sweet and sour pork too. I was FULL! And I got some excellent photos out of it too. Read half of the episodic memory chapter and then tried to unwind the rest of the night.
