Really nice day today. Slept in a little bit, got ready, warmed up leftover dinner last night and made coffee and headed to campus around 10:05am. Walked and grumbled all the way up the goddamn Oakes/Rachel Carson stairs to Porter to meet with Alex and then headed up to his dorm. I dug into my breakfast and we caught up about classes and future plans, talked about us (turns out the person he's seeing is more of a FWB but, still, I imagine he needs the company more than ever as he completes classes), and then talked about his afterschool program about delinquency. Change behavior incrementally, encourage but don't command self-reflection, push on as many factors and fronts as feasibly possible, when in doubt think/act/intervene smaller than larger. He made a couple of flirty comments; I played it safe and tried to stick to the main convo. We hugged a couple of times but nothing super intimate (thankfully), opened the floor for future meets and texts, and I headed out the door around 1:40pm.
