Busier than I thought today but ultimately good. Sections at noon until 4, grabbed lab key from Georget at SS2, met Aunt Kun and Uncle Mike at the wharf and Gilda's for some dinner. We briefly watched a young boy and his father catch sardines, and then headed into Gilda's. Sweet, dear, cozy Gilda's! Me and Uncle Mike got some prime rib, Aunt Kun got some salmon. All our plates came with great veggies and baked potatoes too. Lots of catching up! Totally needed this. They stopped by my rental and then headed home. I scrambled to make my breakfast wrap for tomorrow (MUCH easier without also having to cook up dinner) and do my Problem Set B. An hour and a half ticked by, my circadian rhythm was screeching at me, and I cut my losses and just emailed my Psycholing TA, Emily Knick (equally as effervescent as she is knowledgeable), that I'd be turning in the assignment late. Honestly? Worth it. I've had a grinder of a week so far.
