"[Growing up] is hard and nobody understands." // https://www.homestuck.com/story/2391

Tried sleeping in today, got ready around 8:40. Had some garlic sesame noodles with potsticker dumplings and cabbage. Made coffee and did laundry. Headed to campus around 1:20 since Alex invited me to hang out and cuddle. He's in Porter A this quarter with a couple third year transfers. Talked a little bit with him, checked for any homework, and cuddled and cat napped with him for a couple hours. He showed me some pictures of his trip to Taiwan, kissed my forehead a few times, stroked my face and torso and basically made me feel safe. An hour in we got a little bolder and kissed a couple dozen times on the lips. He was so sweet and warm and smelled good. He snores a little lol. We were so close his scruff dug into my face a few times. Major highlight: him sneaking in another round of kisses, me reaching into his hair and pulling him closer. This all sounds really lovey dovey but unfortunately I still don't think I'm ready for a relationship. Woke up properly around 4:00 and used the restroom, I decided to head out, he walked me down outside the building. Walked back down to West Remote Lot and grabbed a few more groceries from Trader Joe's (mostly just veggies and trail mix) and headed home. The marinated skinless boneless chicken thigh from yesterday was a little trickier to cook than I thought. I used my extra virgin olive oil which has a relatively low smoke point and the tiny stainless steel pan I borrowed off the wall was a little too responsive. The first chicken thigh was burnt and didn't cook all the way through. The second thigh was tiny, and I had to put a lid over it to trap the low heat. Tastes great though. Rice and chicken and leftover stir fry and plenty of baby carrots. I seem to constantly crave veggies and fiber these days. Spent the rest of the night unwinding and trying what to text Alex tomorrow.
