Just paid for the 3 samples (a dark red, a dark blue, and an olive green) and a box of Lamy cartridges (mostly to reuse them — turns out I've been using a Platinum Preppy cartridge by accident), about $20.25 total. Seemed a bit steep to me, and my intuitions were right. Ink samples are now $2.25 each, when they used to be $1.50 back in December 2021 according to my last invoice. That's more than double the expected inflation rate: expected $1.83 per 21.3% inflation rate, seen 50%). Interestingly, the other product I bought from them, a cleaning set, only went up $2 to $20 today, or 11%.
As you can see, Trump's economy has actually gotten me concerned about numbers. Oyyy!
