Afternoon: Drove to Canni's house for a delicious lunch of grilled chicken, bell peppers, and watermelon and catch-up with her, Julie, and Javi (I saw Javi at Canni's July BBQ, but didn't talk to him much — this time was more constructive). Canni talked about her dragonboating Germany trip/race, and the latest update on Daphne — apparently Daphne is on Hinge now. Julie's still grinding her grad school(?) essays, 2/3rds of them complete. I was kind of all over the place what with finding a bedroom in the Santa Cruz area, my 3.5g trip (more for Javi's info).
