Dinner with Alex, Steven (Alex's roommate), and Richard at College 9. Talked a bit about consumer automation and vetted my outline with Alex. Talked about plans for the summer with Alex. Walked with Alex and Steven to a summit point at DARC looking over the city, and then down to their apartment at Oakes. Steven is a geophysics major and has quite the rock collection. Alex, definitively, is a nerd. (I got that vibe on our 5 hour date-hangout last Wednesday but this really solidified it.) Alex walked me back to Porter, said he liked how focused I look while taking my photos, we reflected on the school year this far, talked about us. He was worried he wasn't communicating well but I reassured him he was a-ok and it was really me that was spotty. Told him I really liked hanging out with him as a friend and wasn't ready for a relationship. But I wish I were. My God if I thought he was adorable last time he is ADORABLE this time. Glasses, beanie, clear skin, a few inches on me. His birthday was on the 3rd this month. I don't know. He makes me feel safe. He feels like coming home, but without the baggage.
