Starbucks and Noah's Bagels for breakfast this morning. Had a little bit of a runaround since there was a major accident on the regular city road up to Fremont. I had a medium iced coffee with a splash of half and half and two pumps of brown sugar, and a pastrami sandwich. Delicious all around. The coffee was a little weak for my taste (I tend to brew my iced coffee bolder than my hot coffee), but still delicious. In the afternoon I got a car wash and filled my tank with a few gallons of gas, and took I-280 instead of I-880. Bit of a noisy drive on 280. Amusedly saw 4 or 5 Priuses coasting and gliding and coasting Highway 17 in front of me. Had dinner at Rachel Carson. They had pork ramen and matzo ball soup. My mood was kind of blah, but the food was excellent. Spent a good chunk of the evening and night alternating between my last weeks reading for Psyc 116 and Angles of View, a sort of cousin of a writing project to The Cryptographer (on hiatus). Had a semi-breakthrough with AoV yesterday night when I got into the flow of writing and lost track of time (stayed up until 12:40!) and really started to wonder what would happen next.
