What a day today. Woke up early around 8:30, had breakfast around 9:10. Dad also bought some spinach and cheese ravioli when he went to Costco yesterday. Spent the rest of the morning doing a little prep for Julie's headshots. She picked me up around 12:40 and we went to Jose Higuera Adobe Park just past Golfland. Somehow I didn't make the connection this was also in a stone's throw of Ethan Buntaran and Ethan To's houses. Park was cozy and beautiful, especially under the full bright sun. I think Julie's headshots came out great — not bad for my first proper try at portrait photography. Talked about school, our other friends, and plans for the winter break. Julie's been on the MCAT grind lately. Later around 1:50 we swung by Las Vegas Taqueria for some lunch (talked briefly about politics) and Sunright Tea. SO FUN!!! For some reason I was a little apprehensive yesterday about hanging out with Julie 1:1 but we really didn't have a shortage of things to talk about today. She dropped me off back home and I spent the rest of the afternoon, slightly into evening, working on Ladon and Orange Side B. Near the end of it I was getting a real twinge in my chest writing Ladon's conflicted feelings about Orange (in this version) trying to strangle him, only to switch up and charm him later. It even made me feel a little crazy. So maybe I've got to make Ladon hurt Orange back? Took my brother to Sunright Tea around 6:00 since he needed a break from his finals studying, and then came back quick. Worked a bit on Soteriology of the Coherent(!!!) later and then tried to lamp out in bed with my laptop around 6:50 only to take a nap until 8:00. Oy... I must've been tired. Had some dinner around 8:15 and hydrated up and felt much much better. Mom made stuffed pork and mushroom bittermelon soup. SO. GOOD. So grateful — it's been way too long since I've had this. Spent the rest of the night unwinding and adding some more photo info (faux XPAN, namely) into Dendron.
