"[Growing up] is hard and nobody understands." // https://www.homestuck.com/story/2391

Still cold today. Tried setting my alarm for 8pm at when I fell asleep near 12:30 last night, but I left it on silent/vibrate and not ringer so I slept right through it. Got finished getting ready around 10:30. Had some loaded ramen for breakfast, and spent the morning sucking down my coffee (latte with two tsp cocoa powder) and playing Valor. Died on my Archer with the Elimination Bow and the 10K damage quiver :-( but I did get up to 45,000 gold which should be enough for two more Legendary items from the market if I'm really really pressed. Seth came home around 1:00 from his finals — the high school has shorter schedules for finals week. Dad came home from Costco around 1:30 per his day off and we swung by to pick up my youngest cousin from Weller Elementary. Soon after we dropped her off at work and then got some lunch at the nearby pho shop. My brother and my dad got some beef and chicken noodle soup respectively. I was still full from this morning so I just got a few spring rolls. The peanut dip was quite good, though somewhat sweeter than I expected. Later we swung by Best Buy, Walmart, and then Staples to get a graphing calculator for Seth. Apparently the one I suggested he buy from eBay (yes I take blame here) went bunk, and he's got a precalc final tomorrow. Staples was the only one who had them in stock, thank goodness. Later we came back home. Made a matcha latte. I don't remember for sure what I did in the early evening. I must've played a tepid, short round of Valor, and eaten some more Trader Takis. I think I worked on Ladon and Orange Side B, but not all that much compared to yesterday. Seems I'm still running into writing blocks... or the exact situations and scenes I'm placing these characters in are harder to write than I thought. Later I had a small dinner of a chicken drumstick from the rotisserie chicken and some pickles over an episode of Frasier where Frasier's dad reconnects with his police buddy after a falling out. For a second there I was torn between Frasier, Friends, and Seinfeld. Curse you, 90s — for the crime of being too damn cool. Spent the rest of the night unwinding, and editing some of my 24mm lens photos to fake some Hasselblad XPAN shots. It's not perfect, since my grayscale tone curves and edits don't have that much film-ish "grit" nor am I strictly fitting the 1:2.7 ratio (I actually much prefer 1:2), but I think they're okay.
