Been using the RF 28mm as my main lens today and yesterday. I love how compact and portable it is -- turns it into the physical equivalent of a point-and-shoot. Reviewing the pictures so far, I'm noticing two things: it's definitely sharper than my FD 28mm, but you still have to use it right to get max sharpness. Like any lens (even telephoto) it gets a little soft at infinity, e.g., it doesn't capture distant foliage details too well. The perspective also looks a bit flattened, but it doesn't look as squished and distorted as it would normally be, because of the very good in-camera corrections. It feels much more comfortable to compose in/for, though with such a wide canvas it is still tricky to include/exclude certain forms and subjects.
