"[Growing up] is hard and nobody understands." // https://www.homestuck.com/story/2391

Campus had a brief power outage from 7:15 (noticed the uneven lighting and dead silence when I woke up and got ready at 7:35) to 9:15am which was enough to cancel in-person classes. My Psyc 100 zoom session was cancelled too by my professor since the bulk of our meetings are in-person, and thus, the hybrid format leans to that descriptor. I spent the day trying to tidy up and get caught up with my research for my Psyc 100 assignment, and for Helios. After three hours of trying to power through it I went for a photowalk around 3:30. Aunt Kun and Uncle Mike checked in with me and asked if I were free today and I confirmed that today was essentially an early weekend, so they arrived from Stockton at 4:15, and I got back to Porter College around 4:35. I paid their parking fare, showed them around my dorm and Porter C and the Porter Market convenience store/cafe combo, and even had a few bites of some pear and some chicken they packed in (I didn't eat too much since I still would've had to eat dinner soon). I think I felt really in my element showing them around and updating them on my classes. They headed home around 7:15, and I got back to my dorm. I unwound and talked to Sasha and watched them play the Roblox game Doors. Seeing as it was 9:03pm I grabbed my wallet and headed to Rachel Carson. Turns out they close early on Fridays and Saturdays. Darn! Walked back up to the eastbound bus stop. Spent 8, 9 minutes waiting for the bus to get to College 9/JRL. When the Santa Cruz Metro came by and I took out my wallet, I was horrified to find out I left my ID in my dorm. (Small pockets = worse wallet handling = new bad incentive to store my ID card outside my wallet = bruh.) So I walked back to my dorm, grabbed my ID and wallet and jacket, and then headed back to the bus stop to go to 9/JRL. The bus ride was very fast and quiet. Skittered up the hill to the dining hall. They had chicken pho. Major improvement than Porter Dining, but still not as good as authentic chicken pho (or any Asian chicken noodle soup I'd imagine). Walked back to dorm. It was okay. I walked a lot today and for the first time my feet actually feel sore.
